I’m Karin - an LPCC and EMDR-certified therapist.

I’m here to help you make sense of your emotional world and return to a sense of calm confidence.

Clients often come to me wondering why they’re having the reactions they are - and feeling like they’re the only one.

My role isn’t to “fix” you (because you’re not broken!) — it’s to give you a space to think and process. To help you identify what’s going internally and reconnect with parts of yourself that learned to survive by staying alert, controlled, or quiet and to help those parts learn new patterns.

Just like your body knows how to heal a broken bone, your brain knows how to heal emotional wounds - sometimes it just needs to be shown the way. 

I have over a decade of experience helping women in their identify the root of their struggles, find freedom from worry and move forward in their strength. I’m fully licensed to provide mental health therapy in MN and WI. My work utilizes specialized treatment approaches (including EMDR, parts-based work, and somatic techniques) while holding space for complexity and nuance.
