Meet Karin Lyon, Lpcc
You’re already stronger than you think you are.
Where did you get this idea that you’re not enough?
You’re tough, resilient, and people depend on you. But inside you wonder if you’re doing it right. You keep pushing through because “someone has to do it.” But you’re starting to feel overwhelmed. You might even notice you’re second-guessing yourself or rehearsing conversations wondering if you messed something up. It’s like you’re trying to keep everyone afloat but you’re quietly drowning and wondering if anyone notices. You're needing a space where it’s safe to be YOU - where you don’t have to perform, explain yourself excessively, or have it all together.
You’ve come to the right place.
I believe that therapy should feel…
My style
Collaborative
Encouraging
Non-judgmental
Tailored uniquely to you
Empowering
You’ve held it together for so long. You deserve a space to be held - without judgment and without expectations. You can know that I am for you and I am with you, committed to helping you move past the things holding you back.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, goal-driven (your goals not mine) and creative. I pay close attention to how your nervous system and internal dialogue has adapted to your life experiences — and how those adaptations may be showing up now as anxiety, overwhelm, emotional reactivity, or a sense of disconnection.
I have over 12 years of experience and specialized training to help people like you move out of anxiety and overwhelm and into a sense of calm confidence.
My favorite part of therapy is witnessing the beautiful change when someone begins to truly believe the good things about who they are. I’d be honored to join you in your journey to find freedom from the pain you’re holding.
