  • Absolutely! I love working with men and non-binary people. I have found most of my male clients to really enjoy my process. While I have experience with non-binary folks, if gender identity is part of your main concern I won’t be the best fit for you but would be happy to give you referrals to other therapists who specialize in this area.

  • Trauma-informed therapy recognizes how past experiences can shape the nervous system, emotional responses, and sense of safety. It recognizes your body and nervous system may have been impacted by your experiences (even when your body “wasn’t involved” with the experience), leading to uncomfortable symptoms at times. It emphasizes pacing, collaboration, and choice, rather than pushing for rapid change or emotional exposure.
